Excuse my shirtless kiddo(s)- Judah was also shirtless, but not shown in the day sixteen pictures! Can’t seem to keep a shirt on here! We do live in TX though, where it is still warm at this time. Kind of funny that the day’s key word was cloths or the lack there of! :)
We had fun making our baby Jesus in His cloths yesterday and our sheep today! We are reading from Luke 2 and enjoying learning about the birth of our Savior. I love how this ebook/curriculum (Truth in the Tinsel) connects the crafts so well with what we are reading and gives great discussion starters with each lesson, so that my boys are really connecting God’s message to themselves through each passage we read together. Also, in each lesson there is a “Do More Together” part that takes it even a bit further. For example, today it has you looking where cloth is mentioned again in Jesus’ life and the significance of that.
So, you see why I love these activities? It’s not just a craft, so I can feel like a good mom. I really know that God is using these lessons to help my boys and I to delve into His Word to teach us about the One who created everything and His rescue plan to herd His sheep back unto Himself.
